Your First Visit

A typical first-time treatment at Fiona Norman Chiropractor is a healing experience and usually takes approximately 40 to 50 minutes.

Your first visit will begin with the patient completing a questionnaire detailing their health issues and complaints followed by a personal consultation with Fiona in a safe, clean, hygienic and private treatment room.

You will be asked about your historical and current health status and any urgent or ongoing ailment for which you seek treatment. If you have them, please bring along any x-rays, MRI's, scans or recent medical tests you have had done. This will allow Fiona to gain a total picture of your body.

At this stage, Fiona will talk to you about your condition, and what she can do to help you as she designs an individually appropriate course of treatment. This plan may involve one or more subsequent visits as Fiona follows a treatment plan appropriate for you - one designed to help you heal while allowing you to keep functioning at your maximum optimum at this time.

Patients then enjoy a 10 minute pre-treatment massage specific to their needs. This is given by Fiona Norman Chiropractors friendly team of dedicated Masters of Chiropractic students. Trained, educated and knowledgeable in their chosen field, each has a predisposition to helping patients heal.

Gowns are provided for the massage and treatment process which is all done in a private room on a comfortable treatment bed.

Following your relaxing, therapeutic massage you can choose to have a soft, electric throw rug placed over your body to allow you to remain warm, keep your blood circulating and aid the healing process.

Fiona will then administer your personalized treatment, she may also use one or more of the clinic's healing devices and treatment equipment which includes the Activator technique, Ultrasound and massage machines and special treatment beds.

Once your treatment is over Fiona will advise your best course of action for your return to work, school or home to speed your recovery.

Return visits will be discussed and booked as required.
